Ezekiel Fink, MD, Triple Board Certified in Neurology, Pain, and Brain Injury Medicine

I am a Harvard-trained, triple board-certified physician in Neurology, Pain Medicine, and Brain Injury Medicine. I hold active medical licenses in California and Texas, and bring two decades of clinical, academic, and research experience to my work in brain injury, chronic pain/musculoskeletal disorders, and neurological disease.

I currently serve as Medical Director of Houston Methodist Hospital’s Pain Management Program and Assistant Professor of Neurology at Weill Cornell Medicine. I am also the founding physician of a private neurology and pain practice in both Texas and California.

In my role as Chairman of both the Outpatient and Inpatient System Pain Committees at Houston Methodist, I have led award-winning, system-wide initiatives to improve pain care, reduce opioid-related adverse outcomes, and enhance equity in pain management. I have published extensively on pain protocols, opioid stewardship, and outcomes research in neurology and pain medicine.

My specific expertise in brain injury includes my ongoing work as a Committee Member of the Brain Injury Association of America’s Provider Education and Development Committee, where I contribute to national policy, education, and advocacy. I have authored peer-reviewed research and participated in federally funded projects, including a National Science Foundation award aimed at advancing brain injury care.

As a specialist in neurological, brain, and pain disorders, my expertise spans multiple disciplines—including orthopedics, internal medicine, and psychiatry—reflecting the multisystem nature of these conditions.
