ICHCC Accreditation
Many of you are aware of
our efforts to become
accredited by the
National Association of
Certifying Agencies (NCCA)
for our Certified Life
Care Planner (CLCP)
credential.
We submitted our
completed application in
September of 2007, and
we were informed in
February of 2008 that
several of our standards
required restructuring
and rewriting. This is
encouraging as we were
told by the NCCA that it
is more of the norm not
to pass all 21 standards
at the first submission,
and we passed a
substantial number of
the Standards.
The ICHCC is reworking
the standards based on
the feedback we received
and we will announce to
the field when we
receive our
accreditation from this
valued accreditation
agency. For those of you
who are interested in
learning more about the
accreditation process
and the effort it takes
to complete an
application, please

and you will be taken to
the NCCA web site.
